সিস্টেম বলতে মূলত আমরা কম্পিউটার বুট করার সময় যে সমস্ত ফাইল রান হয় সেই ফাইল গুলি কে একত্রে সিস্টেম বলে থাকি .যেমন DOS মধ্যে অনেক ফাইল আছে যা ভার্সনভেদে বিভিন্ন হয় এগুলোর মধ্যে তিনটে ফাইল উল্লেখযোগ্য যেমন :- I/O সিস্টেম , এমএস-ডস সিস্টেম , command.com এই তিনটে ফাইল এর মধ্যে I/Oসিস্টেম এবং ms-dos সিস্টেমকে হিডেন ফাইল বলে কেননা সাধারণভাবে এই ফাইলদুটি দেখা যায় না . কেবলমাত্র command.com দেখা যায় এছাড়া অনেক ফাইল আছে যা একক যৌথভাবে একটি নির্দেশ বা কমেন্ট হিসেবে কাজ করার মত মাধ্যমে ব্যবহারকারীর সঙ্গে যন্ত্রাংশ গুলি সমন্বয় সাধন করে ..........
