What is media fidelity
In a communication system, a message is the medium through which a message is sent from the sender to the customer. The term media refers to all forms of communication that enable the transmission of a message. These can be either natural or artificial. In general, the medium or media refers to the mass media, which allows quick communication with a large number of people.
And, fidelity is a condition or quality of loyalty. Its real meaning is related to the responsibility towards the ruler or the king. In today's world of communication, it is used to refer to any type of message sent by a medium or media. The word fidelity comes from the Latin word “fidelis” which means faithful or loyal.
Fidelity is also often used to indicate how accurate it is to imitate something. Low Fidelity Media: - Low fidelity media refers to the media that sends incomplete messages or messages from the sender to the customer. Such media does not require additional interpretation to send the message. But the message sent by such media is not completely clear and understandable to the customer. This type of media communicates messages from multiple senses. Low Fidelity Media is also known as Cool Media.
Such as: - Telephone call is low Fidelity Media, because here we have to listen to the whole message very carefully to make the message fully understandable. Also television, cartoons etc. are examples of low fidelity media.
