1. os makes the computer active and usable
2. Input Output devices to control the mind such as printer, floppy disk, hard disk, mouse, monitor keyboard etc., to observe its condition and to coordinate between them.
3. Assists the user in connecting, managing and taking instructions of various software
4. Software controls and creates opportunities to load and perform various programs
5. Accept user's instructions, perform analysis and batch processing.
