Microsoft Windows is a family of graphical operating systems developed and sold by Microsoft Corporation. In November 1985, Microsoft introduced Windows as an additional feature of its DOS (disk operating system) in response to the growing interest in graphical operating systems. Since then it has been widely used in personal or desktop computers.
